Where to now?

Sat May 27, 2006, 2:52 AM
so ive been doing vectors for aprox a month, so what now?

I started with normal silhouettes, then moved to 2d vectors with depth... then i started merging the two in my pieces "Missing Sense" and "Seconds From Solace".. i think its about time for me to move on to something new. Ive always wanted to create my own graphic novel character similar to those of Sin City and Preacher.

dont really know where to begin, or how to do it, but i taught myself vector stuff, so i guess i could teach myself this.

Anyone willing to drop a tip is welcome, or maybe a nice scetch for me to work on, since my drawing skills is limited.

Im hoping to create something really detailed :D

as for my art..... im writing exams for me Honors degree, so ill prolly need to put some work in for that, but i always seem to find ways to squeeze in some digital art whilst learning or doind assigments.

Well, I don't know much about vectors, other than that I like them, but browse aroud the top favorite'd vector art deviations. I personally love minimalistic ones, but some people enjoy 3D vector art, which is a little tricky, but really nice if done right.

I think it's wonderful that you constantly learning new forms of art. Learning is the first step toward immortality. (Not really, but it can't hurt!)
