this is a personal piece of mine

the girl is my 1st love
the guy is me

we broke up about 4 years ago... seems long.. it is pretty long

after school she left to go study in another city, while i had to stay and study here :P

i wanted to try long distance, but alas... "it would never have worked"

i think about her still, but i am pretty sure im over her by now.... but there will always be a special place.

I like your style a lot, how it's loaded with simple messages..

This work is quite nice, but I would have preferred less pastel colors on the lower box like the one above.. I can guess the effect you meant to achieve but the brazen gold really doesn't contrast well with the fiery orange above at all, too desaturated. Maybe dark blues and black could have worked better, it would've contrasted well and given the same message: "Different cities, so far that we live in different times."

hehe, thanks for the advice... i was actually trying to make both the the bottom, but i could not the the 'gold' like the 'bronze' ... main reason is, i dont want all my pieces to start looking alike, and ive been using alot of bright colors.. this piece will be edited, i finished it 2 AM last nite, so there are elements that were rushed.. im gunna redo the girl standing, and the top tree (maybe move it also) :)
