the girl is my 1st love the guy is me we broke up about 4 years ago... seems long.. it is pretty long after school she left to go study in another city, while i had to stay and study here  i wanted to try long distance, but alas... "it would never have worked" i think about her still, but i am pretty sure im over her by now.... but there will always be a special place. |

This work is quite nice, but I would have preferred less pastel colors on the lower box like the one above.. I can guess the effect you meant to achieve but the brazen gold really doesn't contrast well with the fiery orange above at all, too desaturated. Maybe dark blues and black could have worked better, it would've contrasted well and given the same message: "Different cities, so far that we live in different times."
